ValCore Appraisal® 's Senior Appraiser is Felix Castro, ASA, MAI, SRA.  Mr. Castro obtained an undergraduate degree from one of the top real estate programs in the country: the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Real Estate Program, which is currently ranked as the #1 undergraduate real estate program by US News (2023-2026).  Mr. Castro founded ValCore Appraisal LLC, to focus on providing credible and unbiased commercial real estate appraisals, and applying high-quality appraiser judgment on each assignment.  Mr. Castro began his career appraising properties throughout the Madison, WI metro.  He has also been employed by local, regional, and international valuation firms, including Duff & Phelps (now Knoll) and American Appraisal (purchased by Duff & Phelps).  As a real estate appraiser, he has completed various apartment/multi-family appraisals, data center appraisals, property tax assessment appeal appraisals, industrial property appraisals, medical building appraisals, mixed-use appraisals, office building appraisals, self-storage appraisals, warehouse appraisals and other commercial appraisals.  Mr. Castro also has extensive experience with residential property appraisals such as single-family residences, duplexes, lakefront homes, and three-unit and four-unit properties.  Additionally, he also has extensive experience conducting personal property appraisals.  He has traveled throughout the state of Wisconsin on property walk-throughs/inspections, and has maintained residences in Madison and Milwaukee throughout the years and is professionally and personally familiar with both metro areas.
